The Hawkwell Action Group has discovered that the area of Rectory Road / Thorpe Road is the most likely location for 330 new houses for Hawkwell. This site has seen much activity over the last few months, land owners have carried out surveys on everything from environmental impacts to traffic surveys, Many parcels of land in this area have also been sold, some of which have been purchased by property developers. Unfortunately for Hawkwell, all of this is not hearsay. The information we have received has come from Essex County Council. None of the other sites of concern have shown this level of activity.
As residents you have an opportunity to TALK TO ROCHFORD DISTRICT COUNCIL on this subject.
They will be holding a Council Meeting on the date and time below. Members of the public are able to attend,
ask questions and voice your opinions.
